Job Description
We will consider applications from individuals looking for full time, part time or flexible working hours. The role profile can be tailored to match the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
Our business has been built on the reputation of our workshop, something which we take great pride in. You will be working in a bright, well-equipped space, supported by the shop manager.
We see all disciplines of bikes coming in for service or repair, from entry level to pro level dream builds and E-bikes, so there is plenty of opportunity to grow, be challenged and develop your skills.
Our shop is situated in the Causewayhead area of Stirling with its stunning scenery and vibrant local cycling community.
Hours
40 Hrs a week 5 Days a week Tuesday to Saturday.
Flexible / Part-time hours negotiable for the right candidate. Min 24Hrs.

Skills/Experience Required
Qualifications required
Min 2 year experience as a bike mechanic.
Min Cytech 2 qualifications or equivalent
Skills needed
Good mechanical aptitude.
Good communication skills, including taking phone calls and discussing repairs with customers.
Providing repair quotes.
Computer literate and Social Media aware.
Processing & updating jobs in the POS system.
Problem solving.
New bike building.
Be organised and able to work efficiently.
Ability to be able to carry out any type of bike repair, hydraulics servicing, electronic shifting, e- bike diagnostics and repair. Wheel building although not essential would be beneficial. Training will be given to the right candidate in all these areas, if required.
Ability to work under own initiative.
The Person
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual with the ability to work in a time critical environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and very customer focused.
Friendly manner with a passion for bikes and a can-do attitude is essential.
Interested in new developments within the industry and pushing your skills and ideas forward.
Great at communicating verbally and in writing.
