Dirt Jump Bike
These bikes are designed to fly. Usually featuring 24 or 26 inch mountain bike wheels, and only the most robust frames and components, these bikes and their riders don't break a sweat catapulting themselves 30ft into the air.
It is important to make the distinction between this hardy thoroughbred and the popular "Dirt Jump Style" bikes often found in supermarkets, toy shops and car accessory superstores. Dirt jump style bikes take on the design and aesthetic of a jump bike, but are not built with components tough enough for the sport they marketed for. Such BSOs serve no purpose and are a waste of time, money and valuable resources.
