TT Cycles Bradford on Avon was derived from "towpath trail cycle hire" when in 1990 a "bicycle hire cafe" was opened on the Kennet and Avon canal with bicycle hire and a small shop and workshop.

Top Gear Ltd is a privately owned family business formed over 24 years ago. Owned and run by MD Peter Williams and partner Amanda Rolleston, Top Gear now sell only electric bikes, having quickly established themselves as the largest electric bike specialists in Cornwall since setting up their shop in Penryn in 2014.
Peter's many years experience, customer service and professionalism make him a unique distributor within the electric bike marketplace and Amanda's vast retail experience make her a valuable asset to the business.

ACT Shop of the Month | September | Langsett Cycles
Langsett Cycles is one of the oldest cycle shops in the country. It began trading around 1890 on Langsett Road and moved to the present Infirmary Road premises in 1930 and has been an integral part of cycling in the Yorkshire/Derbyshire area ever since.
During the 1980's Langsett Cycles were at the forefront of the BMX revolution. In more recent times Langsett Cycles were again at the forefront of the sport with a combination of top brands and riders.
Langsett Cycles have a very friendly and loyal workforce that have all worked in the shop for over 15 years. Whether it be a bolt for your kids stabilisers or help setting up the suspension on your new mountain bike, they'll be able to assist you.
The large shop means they are able to stock and display all kinds of bikes for all ages and needs.
They also have a large display of clothing and accessories including a new ladies only department.

ACT Shop of the Month | August | Cyclesense
The retailer, located on Tadcaster's High Street, was born in 1991 when owner David Stainthorpe, who always aspired to own his own bike shop, started repairing bikes in his garage and trading on Dewsbury Market with just £600 worth of stock.
Cyclesense moved to a small shop in Tadcaster in 1995 but soon outgrew it and moved to its current location in 2001.
Since then, Cyclesense has evolved into a ‘destination retailer', attracting customers from across the north of England due to the quality of service and wide range of bike brands it sells for all cycling disciplines, including road, mountain and especially touring and expedition.
"It only seems like yesterday that we opened our doors, but all these years later we are still here in Tadcaster and going from strength to strength, says David. "We've had tough times along the way, more recently caused by the floods and closure of the bridge, but Tadcaster is our home, customers visit Tadcaster because of us, and we want to carry on bringing business to the area for another 25 years and beyond!"
Cyclesense is the main dealer in the UK for premium Dutch manufacturer Koga, and the UK distributor for Extrawheel trailers and FollowMe, a unique parent-child tow-bar device which converts a child's bike into a tandem. It also stocks leading brands such as Giant, Van Nicholas and Cannondale.
The kids store, located just around the corner on Westgate, is one of the UK's only lightweight kids' bike dedicated stores, and stocks a wide range of bikes of all sizes for children including brands such as Frog, Dawes and Micro Scooters. "I believe our success can be put down to the simple fact that we can cater for every type of cyclist, from serious competitors to more leisurely riders who see cycling as a way of spending time with the family," adds David.

Set up in 2004, Skyline Cycles is situated at the trail head of Afan Forest Park in Port Talbot.

Hewitt Cycles first opened in June 1994 and within a short period of time established itself as a shop that could fulfil the needs of various types of cyclist.
Starting from an extremely small shop - less than 600 sq.ft, several favourable magazine reviews and the success of the Cheviot range of touring cycles led to a move to their current, larger premises on Preston Road in Leyland, Lancashire.

In Gear Cycles was established in Uckfield, Sussex in 1994. After 20 years in the same location, In Gear relocated to a larger premises and are now open 7 days a week. In Gear have been bike fitting since 1998 and will have a new state of the art studio up and running by spring 2016.
